Your Boudoir Photography Session

Boudoir is for anyone!  No matter what age or size you are, you are a beautiful woman and a boudoir photography session is about letting your sensual side free and creating beautiful and sexy images for you.

So whether you are booking the session  to use the images as a gift for your partner, your soon-to-be groom or just as a treat for yourself, this is an investment you won't regret.

"My Boudoir experience was amazing from beginning to end. I was immediately comfortable with Rachel which made getting my gear off for
the photos so much easier. She was so professional and knew exactly which way to pose me for the best pictures. I had all the faith in the
world that my pictures would turn out beautiful because she knew exactly what she was doing. This was an awesome experience that I
recommended to everyone who wants to feel beautiful."  Miss S

Where will the session be done:

The session is done at my studio, which is located on our property at Warialda. The studio is private, quiet, air-conditioned and I use a combination of studio lighting and natural light.  I have a futon which I can set up as a bed, as well as two chaise lounges, which are perfect for boudoir sessions.

Do you supply outfits or props?

For hygiene reasons, all lingerie is to be supplied by the client.
You do not need to spend a lot of money on lingerie before your session.  A simple lacy bra and panty set will work.  You might also want to consider a teddy, chemise, tight singlet, robe, button up shirt, your partner’s underwear or sports jersey, garter belt as well as a pair of heels. If you're having a bridal session, consider bringing some white lingerie, your garter, your veil, and your heels.

Here are some suggestions on places you could find outfits for your session (online & retail stores):

Honey Birdette                             SJ Lingerie                                 MYER/david jones

ASOS                                            Bras N Things                             target/big w

Kiss Kill                                        Princess Polly                           Wild secrets

Do I have to be naked?

I will always work with whatever level of nakedness you are comfortable with.  In most cases you will be wearing underwear, but if you do choose to be naked, your shots will always be done in good taste and your nudity will be implied rather than overt.

Will my photos end up on your website or Facebook page?

During all sessions, whether they be newborn session, family session or a boudoir shoot, all my clients fill out a client information form which states whether they would like their photos used on my website or a sneak peek on Facebook.  You always have the final say on whether your images are shared publicly.

You also have the option of allowing me to share just those images which are ‘anonymous’ images.  In any case, it’s always your decision and I would always check with you before I use any images.

I am self-conscious about my body.....

I don't know a woman who doesn't have concerns about some part of her body! As a photographer, this is something I deal with on a daily basis and I will use my skills and knowledge of both lighting and posing to direct you to achieve the best shots.

After the shoot, I will also edit each and every shot paying special attention to any skin imperfections, cellulite, or stretch marks or any other areas.

How long will the session take?

The session will last for around 2-2.5 hours (which includes time for hair and makeup).

What about hair and make-up?

Hair and make-up is not included in the package price, however I can organise for a Hair & Makeup Artist to come out to the studio before the session (this will be an additional cost).  Some brides will coordinate their hair and make-up trials to be done just before coming out for their bridal boudoir session.

What is included in the session?

It depends on your package - the Digital Collection includes 15 pics from your session on a USB.  If you're wanting to gift an album to your partner or husband, I have the option of a lace-cover mini album or an ICE cover Premium album.  For those that like prints, I also have the option of 15 fine-art prints encased in a gorgeous antique-looking glass box (along with your USB).

Can I bring a friend to the session?

That is up to you.  Sometimes having others in the studio can make people more self-conscious.  I want you to let loose and have fun!  If however you would be more comfortable bringing a friend, or you would both like to book a session one after the other, let me know!

"My photo shoot with Rachel was such an incredible experience, it's so lovely to be able to see yourself in a different, sexy perspective. She
made me feel comfortable and talked me through what she wanted me to do so I wasn't left feeling lost. I would highly recommend all
women give boudoir a go because it is a sure confidence booster."  Miss M.
