Dee and David were married on a beautiful late-August day at All Saints Anglican Church in Moree, with the reception at the Artesian Spa Motel in the evening.
It’s not often that you get to photograph the groom having some make-up done, however this was the case when David cut his jawline shaving when he was getting ready before the ceremony! Thankfully a few tissues and a little bit of foundation later, he was as good as new!
The All Saints Anglican Church is a beautiful red-brick church in Moree and has some amazing stained glass windows. The windows and church design really added to the photos during the ceremony and then after the ceremony, I was able to spend some time in the church with the bride and groom and we snapped some beautiful shots in the pews.
David had organised both the old and new for wedding cars, with a beautiful white vintage car and a new ford mustang! These were great additions for photos and the cars certainly slowed passing traffic down as people wanted to look at the cars!
We shot a few photos down by the golf course amongst the trees and then found a spot of bushland nearby the Artesian Spa motel where the sun was shining through the trees beautifully.
After dinner I also took Dee and David to a spot near the racecourse where we did some after dark, back-lit photos, utilising a new prop of mine, my clear umbrella!
What a wonderful day it was – well planned, but had a relaxed feel to it.
