It was a pretty special moment when Amanda’s son Oliver walked her down the aisle towards her husband-to-be Nathan at their wedding at Inverell’s Blair Athol Estate in April.
Nathan and Amanda Sheppeard held their wedding ceremony at Blair Athol with the reception at the Inverell Bowling Club on Saturday 23rd April 2016. They had chosen a red and white theme, which contrasted beautifully with all the natural foliage colours out at Blair Athol.
Amanda’s dress was an amazing a-line gown with a capped-sleeve lace top and tulle skirt with a chapel length train. Her bridesmaids were dressed in red one-shoulder chiffon floor length dresses, while the boys sported grey suits (vests, but no jackets) and red socks to complete their outfits!
For photographs, we utilised parts of the Blair Athol Estate, especially the arching trees coming over the driveway, the entrance to the building and the gardens. We also popped up to McIlveen Park lookout not far from Blair Athol for some amazing sunset photos.
It was a full-moon on the night of the wedding, which added an extra-special element to Nathan and Amanda’s after-dark shots. I know I've mentioned it before, but I just love taking my couple's out for a shot after dark. The results are often quite stunning and it also gives them a couple of quiet minutes away from the crowds to drink in the newness of their nuptials!
