Wedding season about to begin - Rachel Sherman wedding Photography North West

Well, after meeting with two of my brides over the last two days – I’m starting to get very excited for the wedding season ahead.

Between now and the end of the year I have seven weddings booked (so far!) with only one at home at Warialda – the rest are in Inverell, Bingara, Tamworth and Coffs Harbour.  I’m looking forward to photographing in a few new places and meeting loads of new people!

A couple of my bride and grooms are already considering the ‘unplugged wedding’ idea, so I’m looking into being able to supply all of the posters, easels and information for people to make that happen.

(An unplugged wedding is where you encourage your guests to put their cameras – especially those in iphones or ipads) away and be present in the moment and enjoy your ceremony with their own two eyes, rather than through a lense – because that’s my job!!)

One of the other trends that I’m seeing is a move away from ‘table’ photographs (where you have a ‘line-up’ of the people who have sat at each table) and instead capturing candid shots of guests at the reception. (See below)...

If this is something you would be interested in, I am even able to set up a secure, password-protected gallery for your guests (and supply them with a little car with the web address and password) so that they can view those reception photos themselves.

To help my future brides navigate their way through the planning process, I have also started sending out regular email newsletters with tips, tricks and trends.  If you would like to receive this newsletter (even if you are not yet a Rachel Sherman Photography bride), contact me HERE to be added to the list.

Happy planning!
